The NNPC Limited–Renaissance JV University Scholarship Programme is an annual scholarship grant designed to support outstanding Nigerian undergraduates through their academic journey, and empower the next generation of leaders.

Eligibility criteria.
Applicants must meet all four criteria below to be considered for the 2026 NNPC-Renaissance JV University Scholarship Scheme.
- 1Be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- 2Be registered full-time undergraduates in an accredited Nigerian university
- 3Be in 200 Level with proof of admission for the 2024/2025 academic session
- 4Not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship from an oil and gas industry entity

Alongside its undergraduate scholarship scheme, the NNPC/Renaissance JV also runs the Niger Delta Postgraduate Overseas Scholarship — a fully-funded, one-year taught MSc programme for qualifying graduates of Bayelsa, Delta, Imo and Rivers States, delivered in partnership with three leading UK universities.

Who qualifies.
Applicants to the Postgraduate Overseas Scholarship must meet the following criteria.
- 1Be an indigene of Bayelsa, Delta, Imo or Rivers State
- 2Hold (or expect to hold) a UK Upper Second-Class Honours degree or equivalent
- 3Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme
- 4Meet the university's English language requirements (minimum IELTS 6.5)
- 5Be aged between 21 and 28 years
- 6Hold a valid Nigerian international passport
